Stone Marker No. 2
Stone post fixed in the ground. Dimensions: 89 × 37 × 19 cm. Its function was to mark a territorial boundary or indicate distances along a path.
Professor Llanos documented in 1984 a network of pre-Hispanic roads articulated by drainage and irrigation channels, marked by these stone markers. 50% of the 112 residential terraces identified feature stone walls, a novel feature in Augustinian statuary.
